Finance Council Information

It is the role of the Parish Finance Council to advise the pastor in matters pertaining to the parish’s financial resources.  The members of the Council serve at the invitation of the Pastor for a three year term.  They are chosen for their expertise in financial matters, economics, general business management, banking, law, insurance, accounting and financial investment.

The Finance Council is responsible for compiling and publishing an annual account of the parish’s financial situation. They review the internal accounting controls, policies and procedures of the parish’s financial operations.  They exercise compliance oversight over all required parish financial reporting. They assist with the preparation of the annual parish budget.
